Richard Urban
Professional Communications
Richard Urban is a versatile content creator with experience in newspaper and magazine journalism and corporate marketing communications. He is an award-winning journalist who transformed his ability to tackle a wide range of subjects accurately, with context and perspective, to creating marketing communications that include short-form newsletter articles, web copy, scripted podcasts, and long-form white papers and industry reports. He assists organizations in improving written communications and in targeting key media to identify opportunities. In addition, he is the author of a lavishly illustrated coffee-table book, Connecticut: Chartered for Progress, which was published in 2002.
Mr. Urban's current freelance activities include managing employee newsletters for a New England regional bank, and volunteering as a writer for the Fiesta Bowl website.
